Happy Easter Weekend! 🐣

Here is My Grandma’s Mukeunji Bokkeum
2 1/2 cup Mukeunji, aka sour kimchi (the sour, the stinkier & the older the better), wash in water to get rid of “old mukeunji smell”
2 tbsp gochugaru
2 tsp mushroom gamchimi (Korean mushroom seasoning. You can use other mushroom powder/seasoning)
1 1/2 cup water
1 greenhouse onin, sliced
1 tbsp wild sesame or sesame oil
Sesame seeds

You can enjoy with rice, tofu, noodles, bread or whatever you want! This recipe will work with any types of sour kimchi. One of my fav my grandma used to make was with Chongak kimchi (ponytail kimchi).

Before reading I was so confused watching you wash kimchi before making soup.. Then I saw it's sour kimchi and understood completely😄

I will never understand why people act like tofu isn’t good. I really love the texture. But unfortunately I can’t eat it, my body has a horrible time digesting it.
