I invested too much already to fold vs 1/3 pot raise

Losing to suited A, 10 on 4th street.
Losing to set of Kings on the flop.
Losing to boat Qs full of Ks on the river.

Leaving the pre-flop action off of the video skews the hand. Who was the aggressor? Was there a 3-bet or 4-bet? Position pre-flop?

This is absolutely a legendary fold, basically folding when getting 7 to 1 on a call with a boat is just insanely good

Without knowledge of the preflop action, I'd say that's a mandatory call and the fold was a huge blunder. There has to be a significant amount of AQ, AT, 33 and other such weaker value hands. If Garrett was the preflop aggressor, then Andy should only have KQ for winning value hands, and very rarely if ever have KK. The raise is far too small for a fold IMO. You don't bet 30k on the river and fold a raise to 55k with a boat.

What was the action like preflop? Video is not giving us the full story.

U need to have a crazy strong read in order to fold this hand, your getting 6:1 putting 25k in to win 150k

Effective stack is Andy with 76K, he opens in early pos. Andy 3 bets in position, Garrett 4 bets for 10K Andy calls. Garrett bets a smallish 7K, and Andy slow plays with the call to see a turn card that concerns Garrett a bit for sure but he continues small for 14K and is called, pot now 62K and Andy has 3/4 pot behind. On the Q river, Garrett thought a long time before betting 30K and Andy shoved for just 25K more. So yes, just having to be right once out of 7 times Garrett still reached the conclusion that he was never going to have worse than J's full here.

Andy is probably never bluffing there and his value hands are 99% of the time a better FH than JJ here. With that being said, I would still snap call the 7 to 1 pot odds here😂

I only play play money poker but I think I could fold if real money was on the table. It's pretty easy for Andy to have KQ or KK or QQ without seeing preflop action.

maybe this is an example of how good he's got the cheating down!

Pre flop betting makes a big difference on how I’d act and you left that part out of the clip

And that’s why Garrett is one of the most successful cash games players ever. Dude is a beast

I genuinely hate Garrett so much his reads are good perfect fold, perfect calls, perfect bluffs, almost seems unbeatable

I'm calling even if Andy shows me his hand! Lol

If Garrett bet Andy all in, not 25k, he would have likely have had him on quad q's. He is therefore likely to fold that. The 25k was the sign that he had him beat. That would be a bluff though and obvs these are pros and know what they are doing 😂😂😂😂

Most people would snap call?? We didn't see what happened pre flop so we don't what happened there... i would fold here too tho..
