I’m a plumber and abuse my cordless tools daily. After 10 years, I’ve only had one drill burn out on me. Lost one battery when water got on it (plumber). And, one impact drill break because I dropped it 20’ on concrete… after previously dropping it multiple times. I’m happy. Bosch isn’t top of class with power, speed or flashy marketing, but they literally go forever. I have other corded Bosch tools that just take abuse and never have broken. Every now and then I get pulled to switch platforms because of the marketing… but I 10/10 recommend Bosch.

After I no longer was working as a carpenter I bought a smaller 14.4 V Bosch drill. The charger stopped working after only 17 years. I only used it for small DIY projects and the batteries were no longer like new, but 17 years of light duty, and if I could find the proper charger I could have squeezed a few more years out of it. (maybe)

Bosch is like the Nokia of the tool world, not flashy or eye grabbing, but bulletproof and reliable

The only thing I wish Bosch would “upgrade” on their impact driver is their chuck. It’s still a two hand operation where as just about all other brands are one handed quick attach.

I've been on Bosch for 6 years now, no complaints.

I live in Europe (Sweden). Saw the Milwaukee assortment and it was somewhat limited. Therefore I went with Bosch wanting to be a one brand man.

I loved the reliability practibility & growing range of Bosch DIY tool range. I renovated my house from plumbing to electrics to carpentry - repairng, creating & building stuff over 8 years without any tool failing - amazing, But no more! I'm now doing all this across 200+ residentail student rooms & offices at work... welcome to Bosch professional tools! Just the same, but with innotive desgins & longterm power (& Bosch blue tells clients to perpare for the best!). Seriously, Bosch keep on growing in creativity, user focussed and sensibly avoid other manufactuers shortfalls without going crazy trying to be the 'best' for those (often pointless) on-line video tests. It's all feeling confident using your tools & knowing this feeling will be there again tomorrow, next, month year... bang on!

Metabo hpt for 18v, 36v, the fact that their multivolt batteries function for both, and for corded as well because they have an ac adapter for their 36v tools. Bosch for 12v tools. Their 12v tools are literally the best pro grade 12v. They have some great 18v too

How did you go after 2 years with Bosch? Any Videos in that? Cheers

Bosch power tools have consistently demonstrated exceptional durability and reliability in my experience. Despite exposure to rain and mud, they have continued to function effectively. In contrast, I have heard unfavorable reports regarding Milwaukee drills, particularly concerning their chucks, gearboxes, triggers, and overall construction. Additionally, the Bosch product range available in the UK is more extensive, and Bosch batteries are compatible with Fein tools.

Bro, I really wanted to switch to Bosch but their battery tool lineup isn't great. I have the 12" glide miter saw, corded router, and a dust extactor, love those tools but they don't offer some of the cordless tools I wanted. For cordless I have to stick with Dewalt.

I switched from M18 to Bosch tools. Bosch feels great in your hands an it is just as powerful

Bosch may not be the fastest but as far as long battery life and quality you can go wrong.

Ive had milwaukee, dewalt, makita grinder. My bosch is what I use everyday for tile. Runs like new. Switches blades easily. I like it the most.
Its heavy duty, and reliable.

I could only afford Ryobi, and with the platform being so huge... It was OK.
Now that my farm is almost paid off and I make a lot more money I switched two years ago.

Flex is the best, hands down.

Though their platform is pretty limited so I use the other four as back ups.

Hear me out, I have Hercules tools and some Bauer tools from Harbor Freight. I have worked as a carpenter for almost 2 years now and I have 2 year warranty on all my tools. No one on the jobsite has Hercules or Bauer tools or batteries so I have not had anything gone missing or stolen in almost 2 years either. If my tool breaks, I can go and get a new one that day by lunch time and be back up and working instead of shipping it to warranty claim like DeWalt or Milwaukee. Which sucks because now your without a tool and now your prolly going to have to buy another one and now you have 2 skilsaws for example. I learned to go with warranty and ease of access over brand and it has worked great for me so far but I am looking at wanting to upgrade since I am getting closer to the end of my warranty. Also I haven't had any issues with the Hercules or Bauer batteries in almost 2 years of ownership. Hercules batteries I have are x6 20v and x4 12v batteries. Bauer I have x5 20v batteries and that even includes the older 3.0AMP battery before harbor freight updated them and it was before Bauer even had a 5.0AMP battery and it works great still. All of them charge great, hold a charge etc.
