I live on a military base too!! I totally understand this, anytime I'm playing with my friend outside and this comes on I just start standing there 😂😂😂

The kids in the neighborhood would all just stop to salute the horns. We were very serious when hearing them and knew it was time to head home

Yup, always be aware of the time when it's pouring rain or freezing out! 🥶

She might be getting woken up hearing “YES, DRILL SEARGENT”

I know the sound like the back of my hand. It doesn’t matter if you step out for a second wearing nothing but a speedo. The moment you hear this sound, you’re required to STOP. 😅

I don’t know about these days but it sucked when my father spent 23 years in the British army! The worst time was boarding school in Germany! Windsor boys school in the early 60’s was not a happy time for the younger boys like myself; always scared of the bigger kids. Some of them were downright bullies. It’s hard to make friends when you have to move a dozen times in my school days. It does wonders for one’s education, NOT!!! I left my last school in Wolverhampton England when I was 14 1/2 and started working. I was born in Gibraltar in 1951. Which was great for my mum, she had a nanny for me and a house cleaner. Cheers all.

As a military brat that was in the Army growing up.We took this very seriously. All the neighborhood kids the moment 17:00 hit we would all stop and put our hands over our heart. It's.
Actually pretty crazy to see on any military base the entire base freezes

I live a few miles as the crow flies by a base but I can hear this quite often especially if I am outside. It goes far and wide.
