Shut Your Mouth For Weight Loss

I couldn’t believe it when I first saw this on Twitter, but researchers at the University of Otago and out of the UK have created an interlocking magnet device that attaches to your teeth and prevents you from opening your mouth more than 2mm, restricting you to a liquid diet. This theoretically helps you lose weight. It’s real, and I had to speak up.

I feel like a device like this would be more successful at encouraging someone to develop an eating disorder way before it would promote a healthy weight loss journey. You know it’s bad when Doctor Mike starts cursing.
