Amazing work by NASA and People who behind closed doors are studying and looking deeply into this

The first images from the new James Webb telescope are nothing short of spectacular. I am awed by them and the achievement of the scientists and engineers who designed and built the telescope. James Webb does not obsolete Hubbell, it enhances it by providing additional information in the form of detail and frequencies Hubbell cannot detect by itself. Combining the power of these two telescopes will give us much more than either of them alone could achieve. Both are extremely valuable instruments and a great contribution to the scientific understanding of our universe. Congratulations to both teams.

It just amazes me how all of this data is recorded and stored and actually learned from. There must be so much data you wonder if there's info that can be connected in plain view that just aren't noticed due to the massive amounts of data that it just hasn't been focused on yet. One scientist can only focus on one thing at a time. There are just so many branches of branches of branches that space observation must lead into that you need to knitpick only a select few of things to study.

Hubble sees things in visible.
Webb sees things in infrared.

It would had sucked if the James Webb telescope had a lens cap that was forgotten to be taken off.

The successor of the James webb telescope will be launched first

The JWT is substantially bigger - 6.5 square meters vs 2.4, so how does the usable magnification compare? I'd say Hubble can give us 2, 00x, so JWT should be good for 5k ( give or take ).

The biggest difference between the Hubble and the JWST is the Hubble is in orbit and has done real science. The JWST is still sitting in a hanger on the ground.

Hubble: Visible image of Horsehead Nebula.

James Webb: 4K Resolution showing the stars in the Horsehead Nebula.

Astonishing discovery.

I am a cosmoscience buff it is killing you having to wait five more months to see the first images of our distant past universe

I like the voice of the narrator sounds like out of a sci-fi movie explaining your next mission.

If civilizations from other galaxies were telescopically zooming in upon earth, they would be seeing dinosaurs, not you and me.

I’m already over James Webb tele after so many delays. Now with spacex starship on the horizon I want to see a vastly scaled up version.

Will it make cool images for my computer background or just infrared images?

I’m looking for more of documentary on which are narrated by this lovely lady

Fantastic presentation! Just one comment: the narrator neglected to say "minus" when describing the cold temps of distant objects, saying only "150 degrees" - so there's a 300-degree error there. Otherwise excellent job!

Webb-Hubble? Where have I heard that name before?
