Fats & Oils (Udo Erasmus) Simplified Guidelines

- Low fat diet relatively high in EFAs
- Get fats from plant sources (flax, chia, hemp, pumpkin...)
- Raw, whole, unprocessed, organic
- Ensure adequate vitamin & mineral intake
- Avoid saturated fats
- Avoid processed sugars & starches
- Do not overeat
- Eat fat types according to latitude & balance sun exposure

Well, this was entirely unhelpful for anyone on a ketogenic diet, and I have even less respect for registered dietitians than I had before.

I suppose next you're going to tell me I need to eat "healthy whole grains" even though I'm insulin resistant, right?

Oils degenerate fast so even if they are not refined they should be avoided
