Both my flash drives (64 GBs) won't work on XDJ-XZ when formated using exFAT.

The best USB formatting, if you only ever plan on using a newer product such as CDJ-3000, XDJ-XZ, or XDJ-RX3 is exFAT as it's cross-platform compatible and has error correction whereas FAT32 does not.

For me, the Export option is greyed out. i'm in export mode and formated to ms-dos (FAT32) on my macbook. I'm thinking my macbook may be too old (2016).. or, the SSD I bought just isn't recognized. Crazy thing is, I imported music into rekordbox but can't export a playlist. I may go buy a usb stick just to see if that works vs the SSD (Brand is Gigastone)

Tried loading my usb onto cdjs 2000nx2. Had the format usb message. Pioneer said they don’t have a solution for it. My comp is a windows and will only format to exfat. What should I do?

Also make sure it’s partitioned for both Mac and Windows! Very important!

When I do it rn its analyzing over 3k files I just got beatport and my playlist is like 40 songs dosent make sence I have my own crates but there barely even 100 songs how do I do 1 playlist

what a load of rubbish? FAT32 filesystem only works on windows systems if the USB thumb drive is 32GB or less, anything bigger, the option disappears and that's it. If you are a rekordbox user and your laptop/pc is windows your in trouble because PIONEER still haven't opened up their CD's to work with EXFAT unless you buy the 3000's onwards i believe. you will need a mac to format your USB thumbdrive/HD to FAT32. MacOS is far more flexible when it comes to accepting file systems!! Windows isn't!!
