Most of we all of majority people were devastated to see Neeraj 5 attempts gone in vain. I'll be honest, after seeing first failed attempt of Arshad, I was like, yeh toh gaya ab. But I was still hopeful for every athlete and didn't curse any athlete at all. Sadly, my behavior bit us badly, and Neeraj missed 5 attempts ☹️😭😫
92-93 toh mushkil hee tha.
But those 3-4 attempts atleast, would've given us some respite, if not winning sign 🙁☹️😊

We did not reach the finals but from Asia it was Japan who reached the finals and they broke our Asian record.(2:59:05) and Japan set a new Asian record of 2:58:33 in the final. This presenter is not very familiar with relay timings. India did not run 3 minutes and 58 seconds, that would be slower than the women's relay timing. It was 3 minutes and 0.58 seconds, which is 1.53 seconds slower than our best.. Pura khichdi bana rahe ho mamu.

Sorry, just shoddy and low effort journalism. Cant even read the timing properly. Mens relay timing is 3 minutes 580 ms, they missed the qualification by 500ms or half a second. It is their season best as well.
Set the context with their previous efforts and talk about did they do better or worse.
what was best timing, have they fallen short of that, have they done better than last Olympics.
Why SA went through even though they are 3 seconds worser than us.

Boxing and wrestling were a big let down so as badminton, everything else was expected. Neeraj didn't look at his best either he was fortunate that even after 4-5 fouls he got silver, he had never hit 90 so once Nadeem got there somehow, it was over for Chopra there itself.

Most of our players failed miserably in athletics. If not medal, they could have given their personal or at-least season best. but that also didn't happen with 1-2 exceptions. Everyone is disappointed.
