JBL: Ordinary Sound System

Toyota and JBL first collaborated in 1998 on the Camry in the US market. Today, the relationship has grown to the point where JBL audio systems are available on almost all Toyota vehicles. In the Toyota Crown, we find an 11-speaker JBL Audio system with Clari-Fi technology.

However, is it so exceptional? The answer is no! The JBL stereo failed to impress and lacked the richness of sound we find in competitor vehicles!

Yet Toyota collaborates with Mark Levinson in Lexus products, and it's a lot more impressive!

The sound also goes with the interior insulation, that car is a toyota very light with no sound insulation and cheaper materials, so we can’t blame Jbl for that

It actually has a good bass for being stock. Just pay attention to the bass at the first of the video (not when he increases the volume, the music was on a static phase and the bass stopped right when the volume increased). But it was not really loud tho even at max

It depends on the car manufacturer how much they want to spend on your car audio.

Stock and even "premium" sound systems especially in economy cars are awful, if you're gonna dish out an extra $1k+ on premium sound get aftermarket speakers and an amplifier. Also sound deadening and insulation makes up a good portion of the sound quality

Bose in 2003 350z sounded like crap.
Bose in my 2013 Infiniti JX35 Sounds GREAT for a factory system.

you can always replace and install a better sound speaker. anything from stock is not thats good.

I have JBL in my 21 Tundra and it's mediocre at best.
