Well, I am a single 60 year old man, my mom passed away 11 years ago, she used to cook me my favorite traditional foods, after she passed away, I started learning how to cook my favorite foods, but always had problems with onions and garlic.
I am so happy to watch your video and I tried the way you did and it was a great success.
Thanks alot.

The sharper the knife, the less tears.

For a finer dice, make horizontal cuts first. This way you can make more cuts with the onion still together.

The horizontal cut is not only dangerous, it’s superfluous.

You get the exact same dice by just cutting vertically without risking injury.

My onions become a hack job it's harder than it seems

Keep a little bowl of water next to the cutting board. It will draw some of the moisture from the onion away.

The diagonal cut is not needed at all.
