I’m surprised you picked 1.8 instead of 2.0, the 2.0 looked perfect while the 1.8 still had some tiny flaws in the bars at the bottom.

Okay, I got an huge resin printer with a 12 inch build plate. Also got standard resin. It took me a total of about 4 hours to learn and use the necessary software, and everything else about the process. Used my best guess for the setup and settings. Populated the entire build surface and printed 37 pieces of varying shapes, sizes and details. So, long story short, no problems whatsoever. I found that you can ignore 90% of the nonsense you find on these types of channels. Everyone wants you to believe resin printing is so complicated and mystical. Its not. So in the span of 24 hours I got a printer and supplies, learned all about the software and successfully printed 37 pieces the first time. And on a Linux platform. Me thinks people trying to cut back on competition.

thank youuuu!! I'm gonna finally finish my ventilation system for my first resin printer, and I've been watching all the videos about exposure tests as possible! Surprisingly, there's not as much data on the photon mono as other similar printers… Shoulda gotten anycubic resin, but the elegoo grey was on sale… 😅

Exposure is important however you also need to dial in other settings in your slicer. I have the correct exposure settings but am working to figure out the best bottom settings as I’m getting failures halfway up my prints and randomly in the build plate.
