I just got the smallest python species in the world. She's 6 months old and only NINE GRAMS. Not only will I be showing her off in this video, but we'll be discussing all the different Antaresia species: Children's Pythons, Stimson's Pythons, Spotted Pythons and Pygmy Pythons. Are they good pets? How smart can that tiny brain be?

Also, I am very proud of Kent for researching venom. His reason for doing so and his conclusions are a little misguided, but the information was pretty okay. The presentation of the information was top-notch, though.

My childrens, her name is Roo, has helped no fewer than a dozen people conquer a lifelong fear of snakes. Antaresia are the secret weapon.. Pip is the perfect example ;)

I have one of these wonderful snakes. Exoterra do hides called snake caves, which are great for these animals. They have a hole in the top, and come in three sizes. My snake is a similar size to yours, and likes the medium size hide. He stays in one of his hides all day, and only comes out after dark. I know he's hungry when he rests the front of his head on an edge of the hole: when I open the glass, out he comes. He usually constricts his prey - mouse fluffs, two per feed. He always sheds beautifully, and of course humidity isn't a concern as they come from arid areas.

Can’t explain how excited I was to see this pop up! Antaresia has always been my absolute favorite! I currently have 1.1 Spotted’s and 2.2 Children’s and hope to someday get an Anthill and what used to be a Stimson’s. Last year I got a visual T+ albino children’s and a het male and can’t wait to produce a Children’s morph in the states!
