I prefer classical music as words are distracting and make me want to dance. Classical is a hyper focus dream 👌💪

Choosing Dua Lipa for this video made it 100x more resonant with my life.

I'm a former dancer and a music lover and besides the structure and predictability of repetition which is very calming, music has often helped me express and live my emotions. So it's very accurate! Thanks for your videos- I really like the science facts and brief and catchy manner they are presented in)

So this is the reason why I'm able to focus more on what I need to do when I'm also listening to music!!!😮😮😮

Cannot listen to any music when I'm trying to concentrate except sometimes classical/ baroque. I'm a music teacher with perfect rhythm but can only listen to music purposefully, not in the background- I'm much more of a white/brown noise kind-of gal. My adhd hyper-focus super-power got me to an exceptionally high standard despite other hurdles such as ASD, dyslexia and dyspraxia. 😊

OMG LIGHTBULB!!! THIS explains why iv HAD to listen to music literally 24/7 my entire life. I would even ask my teachers in school if i could listen to music while i was studying and also explains why i was more successful in classes that played or allowed me to listen to music. Even years lated i finally found a job in a laundromat/cleaners that lets me press shirts and listen to music while i work(my performance seriously improves). As a child i was always devastated when my parents took my music away as punishmemt. It felt like the world was going to end . . . .now that im 26 i find it hard to even sleep without music. I grew up with an autistic brother so he got prioritized above anything and my parents and teachers completely missed all the Female adhd symptoms. I didnt even know it was a possibility for me to have this until a coworker about a year and a half ago said something after she was diagnosed, lol at that same time she also suspects me of having autism as well!

VERY much depends on the music style.
And it seems to require a different music style for different styles of focussed work too.
It's the difference between getting work done, sliding off my chair onto the floor to be sat on by the cat or bopping and jumping into the kitchen where I can't hit anything.
Thank god i no longer sing along to music.

Haha! When I play music, it's mostly rock and metal. I'm playing as James Hetfield in a Metallica tribute band, which gives an awesome feeling and adrenaline rush. But the feeling I got when I went to the movies with my wife and saw the Barbie movie, and this song started playing with its perfectly produced groove... It's just so satisfying; can't sit still or get enough.

In my opinion, the best music is when you feel it. When it, on paper, is an artist you never thought you would like and it just explodes in your mind, just as you described in this video and some previous vid about songs we play on repeat. This is most definitely one of them.

I honestly just pop on a breakcore playlist and it helps so much with my work.

No wonder I love drum&bass. It's so incredibly soothing.

Simple tasks like brushing your teeth become much more fun when done to the rhythm of a good dance beat! Lol 😂

Can not do desk tasks with music. Drives me nuts and makes me unfocused.

Recently diagnosed with ADHD but I've used music for years to focus.
A lot of music!

Is this why i like poems that are rhythmic? For a ehile, i weote out my sad feelings in rhymes and it was impressive how rhythmic, rhyming, and deeply woven they were. The poems forced me to think through my feelings instead of getting overwhelmed.

I must contest, lofi and its scratchy unpredictableness is what works for me, but to each their own, Good video :D keep creating!

Huh this is probably why since I was little I find it easier to get stuff done with music playing in the background.. I may break out in dance every once in awhile but I still get more done lol 😂❤
