hi! The pinch method should make you find out if the PCV valve is stuck closed, but what about stuck open PCV? how to check it?

The lower idle when pinching the hose is supposed to quickly recover when you RELEASE the pinched hose, or WHILE you still have the hose pinched? Thanks.

What are the odds that you you posted the video at the same time I need to diagnose what's going on with my PCV. and why it triggers a P0175 and P0172.
My Fuel consumption has been ridiculous. Started suddenly some weeks back.

My PCV Valve leaks at the very top where it connects to the hose(only on cold start), i noticed the clamp is loose so it may explain.
I got a brand new PCV valve from the dealer and it still leaks, my main concern is... lets say i buy a new hose clamp and install it so that it properly clams onto the hose, why is there that much oil passing the valve in the first place.


Hehe nevermind, i checked my entire PCV system and then ran a test, turns out the leak is coming from somewhere near the PCV valve

Question, anyone who knows...
I bought a new PCV. I blew into one side horizontally (the way it is installed on my engine) and it had an air leak. Vertically, there was no air leak. I returned it and got another one, but the same issue?
Maybe my lungs are not as strong as an engine! What do I do? Order another one?
On my engine (toyota) it is a difficult R&R.
