NSW Labor ‘supportive' of the forestry industry: Minns

Показать описание
New South Wales Labor is “supportive of the forestry industry,” says Party Leader Chris Minns.
“We’ve been encouraged over the last week in conversations with the union movement and sections of the forestry industry,” Mr Minns said on Thursday at a media conference.
“We’re confident that we can navigate a pathway through to protect the land that we need to for one-fifth of the koala population in NSW.
“But it needs to be done in a consultative way- we’ve begun that consultation this week, we need to keep going.”
