Great motivation to step out and take actions. Most people don't take off because of analysis paralysis. Also, and sadly, the educational system has failed us in many ways. This is coming from someone who taught in higher institution for many years. We teach students how memorize or regurgitate concepts, but now how to apply the concepts.

I learned Econometrics in college and I am pretty sure we do not use it in real life...I won't do well with that test. But, what I did learn from college was discipline, networking, and learning to ask for help!

From being in that exact situation, wether positive or negative situations, you practice it over and over again, and in the end if it was a lesson, you will eventually apply it later in life, without knowing sometimes, then it’s an aha moment and if it was a blessing, hopefully you learn discipline and learn your “why”
