You a saint, bro. I can say I have applied many of your direction and it has aided my personal well-being over the years. I just wish you were around back in the seventies for veterans like my dad who have just been living with their wounds without compensation because they’re “too tough.” I know it must be hard to wake up every morning and keep your finger to the pulse of what’s happening in the VA. Just know you’re making a difference.

I had neck surgery and the doctor told me that if I lift 50 lbs or more I would be paralyzed for life

What needs changing is their determination on Cardiac disease. Having dealt with ischemic heart disease for many years, open heart surgery, many stents placed, etc., I am denied compensation!! I had agent orange exposure. In addition to many interventions and heart attacks, I had 4 bypasses, one of which has already failed. They don't last long so I will be facing another open heart surgery if I don't die first. They take all your medical history but in the end, they determine your rating soley on a mets test (how well you perform on a stress test). Since all my many interventions were followed by an extensive exercise program, the only way I can pass their test is to take it right after a heart attack before it has been "fixed". It's equivalent to patching a car or truck tire 50 times and saying that it is "healed"! Where is the justice??

Good morning from Madison, NJ.
Thank you brother for your service AND for what you did in the VA as a RVSR. I’m a two year old VSO in NJ. Best job I have ever had. Helping brother and sister Vets every day.

My question is; if I have over a year and still gathering med evidence for GERD (SC-June 2024) and Migraines (not-SC yet/ new claim); if I file for migraines in the next month or two most and it takes the Newark RO six or more months to adjudicate this claim, can/will they also reduce my Sleep Apnea (SC-June 2024) to 0 when reviewing my new claim for Migraines and worsening GERD?

Thank you sir for your insight in this and all things VBA. God bless! 🇺🇸

I have a R. knee service connection. I have multiple issues because of the knee should I claim all at once? Or take one step at a time for each one? I have put this off for about 15yrs. do I have any chance of new claims because of service connection and waiting so long? Love the videos I’ve been trying to catch up to see as many as possible. Thank you for all the good content.

Great stuff Dewayne! Question for anyone who has a thought on a specific sit. Had my C&P a few months ago on mental health and just waiting for a rating. Are they going by the current sop or are they telling the raters to go by the new sop?

I hope that this doesn’t become a situation like the 3M earplug settlement where a shit ton of vets were laughing and putting it off and completely missed out on the money. This is not something that you should slack on if you rate those conditions, sense of urgency on this one for sho!

Thank you for the information, do you ever do personal calls, I would like to briefly explain my claim situation. 15-16yrs active Army, 4 combat tours. You sound like an expert, I asked questions about claims, sometimes, no answers.
