I have also noticed that she is more unique in than any other Minecraft mob in many many ways, she can't spread sculk, She can't be name tagged, and her egg is not a normal block, Mojangs reasons for this are a vague "she's not like other mobs" and her design in general isn't very Minecrafty, having multiple joints per body part, and acid breath.

My mini theory is that she is not native to Minecraft, and Jean is from an entire other universe.

That could have possibly been the ancient builders as the one who were the pirates, Considering in a Matpat theory he says the ancient builders have become Enderman, and if the ancient builders really were in the end at some point, Then it would make sense for the Enderman to be transported there as a punishment for killing the dragons, (Considering its lonely and dull in the nether city)
