Hi Star. I'm from South Africa. Our family eat from our fridges rather than our pantries. Got good advice from a dietician years ago. Eat veg or salad with protein OR carbs with veg or salad. NEVER MIX PROTEIN AND CARBS.
2nd bit of advice is NEVER have sweet meals incl fruit for breakfast. Always savory. You can swap your bfast and lunch if you have sweet stuff for bfast.

Initially l lost weight but have had the same ideal weight for 15+years.

My strategy is reverse meal planning I look at the store flyers and I plan my meals around what is on sale that week and also what's in my pantry refrigerator and freezer

Look at the local butcher shops. Check out their sales day. Usually they have higher quality of the meat than grocery stores but also they have great sales if you catch them. The cheapest is buying a side of beef which is perfect if you have the freezer space. Some meat shops have lockers where you can store the meat if you have freezer space issues. An alternative. Hope this helps.

I watch other YouTubers that do cheap groceries hauls and show you ways to save I love frugal fit mom I also price compare my local grocery stores and only get my sale items and best deals also if your really tight dollar general does 5 off 25 every Saturday and don’t forget dollar tree

Please share when those steaks are on sale weather is Publix or whenever, it’s my husband favorite food too. And he is on high protein diet because he is hungry ALL THE time!!!! Thank you and you are the best! I follow exactly same rules as you do for foods! It’s insanity to pay full price!
