I've been on a spree watching these videos lately, but this is one of the better videos that I've seen. I'd like to get your thoughts on the following:

Let's say that two subjectivist believe in polar opposite views on a given moral issue (drowning a newborn infant, for this instance).

These subjectivists express the following propositions: (1) Drowning that baby infant is wrong VS Drowning that baby infant is not wrong

These propositions cannot both be true at the same time, and if they were it would implode under the principle of explosions. So this would mean that one of them is true, and the other is false. If they are both true at the same time it'd be a contradiction.

What do you think? Do you think this is damning error for subjectivism? Unless they're willing to say "What I meant by that proposition is actually that I dislike it" I do not see how this can be reconciliation for this issue. It appears to be a dishonest cop-out from a meaningful claim that they intended to make that is truth-apt.
