Lots of people compare the output of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 & S24 Ultra. But that misses the point. So instead of comparing the cameras, I'm not going to compare them.

I did want the s24U but got the fold because it was a much more different overall experience. i love it.

I was gifted the S24U by "her indoors", and I'm super gratefull. But I think I would have prefered the Fold if I had had a choice, purely for its versatility.
But to be honest, I was still very happy with my 4 year old S10+ which is still like new! I kept it in Samsung's own Protective Clear View Folio Cover Case. So a lot of the time I didn't even have to open it! I wish they did one for the S24U.... Dissapointed about that...
NB. And the S10+ came with a factory fitted Screen Protector! Unlike the S24U...

Something that shouldn't be ignored is the cost difference, i.e., the relative value. In the US, if I want to trade in my S24U for a ZF6, it would cost me $900. I don't find the ZF6 worth nearly double the S24U, all things considered. I wouldn't even trade them if they were a zero-cost swap... I prefer the sturdier build & feel of the S24U (esp the glass display), along with the built-in S Pen, better camera hardware, and larger battery. Having owned a ZF4 for a year and switching to S24U, I don't miss the ZF4 at all.

Went from S23U to ZFold6 and love it. But having had the Fold 4 as well, I knew I'd miss the camera capability of the Ultra so I kept it. If I'm going somewhere I want good photos (trips with the kids etc) I'll switch to the ultra. Otherwise every day carry is the Fold which still takes more than fine photos.
