Are you in the market for a new car but unsure which type of engine is best suited to your needs? Gas vs. Hybrid vs. Electric - Choosing the Ultimate Ride is important. With so many options available, it’s crucial to understand the benefits and drawbacks of each vehicle type before making a decision.

First up, gas cars. They're reliable, easy to fuel up, and have a long driving range. Plus, they offer the raw power and exhilarating sound that many car enthusiasts crave.

Hybrid cars are combining an internal combustion engine with an electric motor, hybrids offer improved fuel efficiency and lower emissions. They're perfect for urban driving and stop-and-go traffic, thanks to their ability to switch seamlessly between gas and electric power.

Lastly, electric cars with zero emissions and lower operating costs. Electric cars are extremely quiet and provide instant torque, giving you a thrilling acceleration experience. However, limited charging infrastructure and shorter driving ranges can sometimes be a concern.

So, which car is best for you? Well, it depends on your needs and priorities. If you're a performance junkie who loves the sound of a roaring engine, go for a gas car. If you want to save on fuel costs and reduce your carbon footprint, a hybrid might be the way to go. And if you're passionate about the environment and want the latest technology, an electric car is the clear winner.

Our expert analysis will help you weigh the pros and cons, enabling you to select the perfect car that aligns with your lifestyle and values. Whether you prioritize fuel efficiency, range, power, or a greener future, our video will provide you with valuable insights.

Gas prices and inflation have fluctuated wildly since 2020, and new sustainability laws dictating higher MPG rules are going into effect around the country. It’s no wonder, then, that nearly 60% of Americans have considered buying a more fuel efficient vehicles or electric or hybrid vehicle. Deciding whether to get a gas car versus a hybrid car versus an electric car can be complicated. Initial costs are wildly different, and so are the yearly maintenance, car insurance and fuel costs.

To help you make the best decision for your wallet, your family, the Zebra an insurance site, has put everything you need to know about the difference between gas, hybrid and electric vehicles in one place. We have made it more concise to help you to decide what is best for you.

I traded in a full size SUV for Toyota Venza hybrid. After 20K miles I have saved thousands of dollars in fuel costs to the point where I no longer budget fuel in my expenses. I can take a road trip without worrying about recharging or spending a fortune on fuel. Right now I see the possibility of a PHEV, but not an EV in the immediate future.

4:57 Having different plugs is hardly an issue. If you are a light driver (30 miles a day) and have any electricity near your parking spot. There is little need to get a permanent installation. And all you need to power a T2 charger in your garage is a 240v outlet. The same thing running your laundry machine.

I will stick with my naturally aspirated ICE vehicle while I still have the freedom to do so.

9:39 this is the part that made me want to go on a comment spree. My guess is she just misspoke though. She says the average price is 15 CENTS per KWH and the gives a low high of 9 to 40 DOLLARS per KWH. The first time and consecutive time listening through. I only heard the latter. My guess this is the cost per 100 KWH.

I bought a 22 Toyota Camry hybrid that gets 52-54 mpg in city and 47.8 mpg on the highway at 75 mph

I still remember that story about the woman trapped in her Tesla with a cop helplessly watching her burn to death because he could not get the doors/windows opened.

😂 if you love anxiety, wasting time charging, spending $30, 000 more upfront than a gas car. You will never recoup gas savings and repair costs on an EV. Than EVs are for you!

I'm keeping my v8 and hybrid!

5:39 I would be shocked to find any ev come without a t1 charger. T2 chargers are overkill for all PHEVs

Funny at the end of your video, it shows the XC-40 Volvo in Amazon Blue with a white top. Bought that very car in 2019 for my wife. she loves it, only have 34, 000 miles on it and I maintain it every six-months with my Independent Volvo mechanic shop. He's been in business since 1982 and only works on Volvos, period.

Anyway, Volvo does not make that color combination any longer. All during COVID, the dealer tried to buy my wife's car back at a high discount. I told them they could not afford it and to call me when they started making the XC-40 hybrid in Amazon Blue with a white top again. Haven't heard a peep out them! 🤔

10:27 I own a PHEV (Kia Niro) and though experience may vary, with my 70 mile commute, I average almost 70mpg while only charging at home.

7:24 it is not like you pay a premium for EV tires. Yes, that is expensive maintenance that often gets overlooked, but that is true for ice vehicles as well.

I really enjoy my na ice Mustang GT. Runs on premium fuel and if i keep my foot out of it, I get 13 mpg. Of course I average about 6 mpg. Fun

I just traded in my 2022 NX350 for a 2023 Tesla Model 3 Performance…prices were so low…cheaper than my NX…BEFORE rebates. I will be spending another $1000 for home charging set up. Insurance was a wash. Go EV!
