As a new reseller just starting out I do know this for sure. Having crossed paths with you is a Godsend. This week I am picking a name for my business, committing to learning excel, diving into pricing right, running things as lean and tight as possible and committing time to read and study your how to be successful at reselling. I will leave you with this: I have been buying small items from Goodwill since the pandemic started. I do not have clue how many pieces I have or their true value but I plan on finding out! You are teaching us business not just selling on Ebay. Not everyone is a good teacher BUT YOU ARE! Thank you Don for caring about us!

Don, as always, you are spot on. I treat this more as a hobby than an actual business and do not devote the time to it as I should. I do see a direct correlation between listing items and sales, and it is constant (list five items, sell three completely different items). As always, thank you for sharing your wisdom and experience with us.

Thanks Don for always keeping it real. In my “full time” non-reselling job I witnessed a very similar speech by a manufacturing plant manager scolding his leadership team because none of them could tell him what the costs of running their area was. Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, Safety…. Or RESELLING. No matter what department you work in, you need to know your costs.
