Healthy competition never killed anyone.. Except all those other CPU and GPU companies.

even if rocket lake has 20% ipc improvement it doesnt matter. zen 3 ipc still better or equal and the core count difference is just ridiculous

No true enthusiast will ever wish for either side of the competition to die off. No consumer ever benefits from that. I'm all for the success of AMD, I've been rooting for them since the start, but thinking they'll behave any differently than intel from a position of dominance is just silly.

You are missing the bigger picture. AMD completely went back to the drawing board after the FX disaster.
Lisa Su has re-designed a whole new architecture that has matured like fine wine. It's taken what 3 going on 4 years to beat Intel? Its turned into a game of tennis now with AMD firmly in the lead.

AMD have killed it not only in desktop, but also in console's and the laptop market with there 4000 series APUs, they are dominating the market.
Intel have been clinging on to old architecture because of there lead in unoticable FPS gains in games, but on the bigger picture Intel are in a complete mess.

Our work place have just had new office computer's and for the first time in 10 years since I have worked there they all have AMD APUs in them. Efficiency is the way forward and that's what AMD brings to the table.

Hahaha wtf!?

6 months till Rocket Lake and you somehow try to say Intel has everything in check.

And after rocket lake AMD will be preparing Zen 4 with DDR5 and PCIe 5.0 lol

I wonder how much they get paid to keep Intel relevant.
If you win you win. Don't undermine it by saying that the competition let them win.
He's basically saying that the giant company of Intel let AMD get this win..? Yeh right.. five credit where credit is due please...
