Instructions unclear: created an optimized game within a reasonable time frame

Inacurate, you need to add exactly one switch just to show that you are able to...

Honestly respect to him though. I can't imagine making a whole damn game out of if and else statements.

He makes recursive functions seem like the way to go.

Since I have seen his code I’m scared to use if statements and end up fucking up my code even though I know how to do waterfall. Like once I was discussing with my friend a small project he had to do for college, it was a turned based game and there was generals with passive abilities and he suggested what if general X can’t take long range same damage in the first 3 turns and he suggested to use an if to verify if it is after or before turn 3, and then I remembered yandev routine code which check every minute what time is, then I said to my friend better not have this ability in the game.

I’ve always wanted to make a game that never comes out of beta and is still filled with bugs after I’m dead!

And if you replace them with forloops somehow the game won’t start.

Yandev would also use variables as arrays.

there will never be glitches if it checks the variable in every update :D

Fun fact: My dad works in a company that uses ASP Classic, and they cannot use multiline comments, so when he needs to comment he just does "If 1 = 2 Then ... End If"
So once his manager said: If one day 1 will equal 2, our entire system will break!

I've been making Roblox games for quite a while now, and I used to use Ifs statements A LOT. It's only recently (this year) that I finally learnt things like tables for loops. I can't tell you how much easier it has made programming for me. Like, for example, if I needed to animate something in 2D, I upload all frames, put their IDs in a table, and run a for loop. Or I can just use a spritesheet but..

step 4: be mentioned in every top 1 worst developer of all time
