This is a very nice, easy to follow, tutorial for those new to PCB design and KiCAD. I've seen a few KiCAD tutorials that span several episodes and an hour or two of view time. They're comprehensive, but contain a lot of information not needed by someone just dipping their toes into the waters for the first time (designing their first project board and the like) which can make KiCAD seem intimidating to use for the first-time board designer or hobbyist. KiCAD is a powerful design tool with which a designer can create intricate multilayered PC B, but using it is really quite easy. My only criticism of this tutorial is that the entire project could have been implemented on a single-sided PCB but it would have been much larger to accommodate traces and layout.

Good video as a starting point to design circuits.
One point I would like to add, while routing the tracks you should never turn them at 90degrees. Please read necessary guidelines for the same over internet.

1. What are all the masks selected for boards containing SMD components when generating gerber files?
2. Is there a way to place components on the bottom of the board in KiCad? Things like passives and such.
