Again,   another great informative video from you. I believe yours are the most informative I've seen and I've watched many. Thank You.   Lovely smile/ and a lovely lady.  As the lady below commented " a breath of fresh air", I just love yourattitude/positivity  toward things.  God bless.

Today my dentist office called to set appt for first wax try in. I'm excited! This is becoming real! How they are doing this is beyond me. They're doing the try in for the back teeth, the bite etc. she said partials on the voice mail so I thought they called the wrong patient. Thank you again for being out here. I may be a senior but I'm not even close to retiring. Even seniors have a fear of the unknown but there aren't many people around me talking about dentures. They have them, they're in their mouth end of story. And then there's you, sweet lady, with your beautiful smile, your tips, your encouragement, it's wonderful! I'm going into this with some expectations of what's to happen. I wish I could post a picture of before and after when this is all said and done. At this point tree bark would look better than what I have now LOL

Hi denture adventure, I just wanted to tell you how my appoint went. I had the wax try in and another impression was done. I don't know if that's normal or maybe the young lady who did my first impressions didn't do a good job. I'm not mad though. The dentist did these impressions and it gave me a chance to see his bedside manner. I'm so relieved. This young man is so sweet, attentive, ?explained everything to me. Mangled me gently. Addressed my fear of needles. He's going to use a numbing ointment before the shots and he'll make sure I don't see the needles. He was wonderful. I can't tell you what this did for me. I was practically bouncing back to work. I believe he's going to do his best to get me through it. Am I expecting pain free, of course not. Am I expecting worse case scenario, nope! If it's ok, I'll update you after it's all done. Thank you :-)

Another well thought out and articulate blog, thank you. We have talked before as I continue to watch all the videos I can leading up to my final impressions appointment this coming Monday. I have not seen any videos featuring someone my age (73) and am a bit apprehensive when it comes to getting my remaining top 10 teeth extracted on the day I get my immediates. I don't have any major health issues and was a bit surprised to be told I would only be given the normal novocaine type of painkiller with a couple of Advil type of pain killers after going home. As mentioned before, I'm worried about how my speech will be effected after the healing process. Time will tell about that.

This is all great tips for somethone like me. I have absolutely no experience with the dentist. They are doing good to talk to me. They asked me what I wanted. I want to smile again. I'm 62 but I'm in the work force, I see people. Mostly, with age, my mouth is getting funny looking. Teeth shifting etc. I took a picture of just my teeth. My two front teeth are leaning to the left! Yah, I didn't know this. I avoid mirrors. I'm looking forward to a proper and pleasant smile. I qualified for CareCredit. If I hadn't I wouldn't be watching your video. Maybe some of your followers don't know about CareCredit. If you don't have dental insurances and you have good credit, it's an option for you.

Thanks for your video. I'm at the beginning of my "denture journey"; have gone to 3 different places for consultations. I'm disabled & Social Security is my only income, so my sister said she would help me, but the lowest quote so far is $5300, & my sister is balking at spending that much. I need 16 extractions. I don't know what to do...crying as I type this because there's no way I can afford dentures & extractions without some kind of assistance. My teeth are breaking off at the gum & I'm already missing almost all my molars, so I can barely chew now...hopefully I'll figure out something...😢
