Its not even necessarily bc it was too boring, yt gets weird about showing folks content at times. I see someone in my shorts for months then suddenly they vanish until I go looking for them or they pop back up randomly 3 to 6 months later

The algorithm works in mysterious ways. Plenty of creators I see would only get some thousands other videos and then millions with A FEW of them. Don't get bummed out and keep up your work ^_^

I think in 2023 we can agree the competition in niche and in general has gotten a lot bigger, but people jump to YT is refusing to promote them, I must do things to get more views. That I wonder how many people are making videos they want vs to get more views? Oh and subscribers. It's an annoying thin line because views are part of the equation to make money.
