I've been playing this game since nearly the beginning and have watched it go through SEVERAL iterations. I'm not sure the developers really know where they are gonna land with it. But so far, the way it is as of now is fairly good, but you get to a point (REALLY QUICK) where there's just nothing left to do other than collect more stuff. You USED to be able to build a sawmill and lathe and stuff that was all powered by windmill and gears that you had to build. They still have the windmill and gears, but nothing to really to put ON it for it to power. I know, it's still in development, but why have power implemented, if you have nothing to power? There's also NO way to actually light your place up at night... torches burn out SO fast, and so do campfires unless you keep putting wood on them ....constantly. I still play this game every 2-3 months to see if they've gotten any further... they haven't really changed much in MONTHS now. So.... meh.

The inventory slot in the little windows is a bit hard to see, could be a bit more defined, as even with my glasses on it's a bit hard to see😁.

Loved this game for the update. I played this game and loved it played it a little while ago and they didn't do it any good. That's my opinion. But some how looking at you makes me wanna play it again. I guess that's the @gameedge magic. Thanks for the update GE. Keep them coming sir

btw, those piles of rock, or big rock formations sticking up... you can "punch" those with your fist to get rock. Yeah.

Usually in real life when baking a clay pot, you put the pot upside down in the fireplace and place tinder and wood over and around it then light it.

Be careful using "Near by" when harvesting. You will see a stack of items and miss the other stack(s) half a step away. Look around!

I just bought this game and I am very disappointed. I have spent 6.9 hours and still havent been able to complete my base due to all the issues with glitches. I am now fighting with the woodworks station. I cant interact with it no matter what I do. Pressing E" doesnt do it, heck I read that you needed to throw a log on there and just whack it with your axe and all of a sudden it will turn in to planks. lol yes I was desperate and even tried that with no luck. This game IMO should never have been taken out of EA, I know they had issues with staffing and that would be even more reason to stay in EA until new staff settle in. I am hoping they get it together and fix these issues as what I was able to do in the game I enjoyed. I am going to shelve this game for now at least. I will look at it again down the road. Keep up all the good reviews that you do GE, I enjoy watching your streams and usually base my decisions on games ( to purchase) by your game play of them. Keep up all the good work!

Played this a few month ago, and back then you could drink directly from the river.
And if I do remember correctly, the knife should be better on the bushes/smaller plants.

I hate how none of these survival games ever get it just right. I am a survival instructor.
17 strikes with an axe to take down an elephant's ear (alocasia) plant, but only a few seconds on the bow drill?
