I was diagnosed late stage at age 20. It began with serious flu like symptoms, swelling in my knees, and a strange rash on my legs that eventually turned into bullseyes all over my body. It took two tests over the span of weeks to get a positive, and it was positive on all bands. Only then was I treated. I have been on several rounds of doxy, and I have chronic joint pain (my knees are deteriorating) migraines with aura, and extreme fatigue/weakness. I was never tested for co infections. Science tells us that this disease is not chronic, but I cannot help but feel like This disease has destroyed my body.
