Problem 1- the engine is a derivative of the new truck engine that has so far been completely reliable since 2019. Should be better than the V6 in every way.
Problem 2- its a new vehicle- there's no reason to think HVAC problems are any more or less likely than with anything else new.
Problem 3- You're either ok or not ok with new GM interiors, but it won't surprise you.

The Interior looks more luxurious and expensive than previous years

Mark these words. This new engine will be unreliable as the majority of all turbo engines, rather owners not knowing turbo engines require stricter maintenance as compared to naturally aspirated engines. They should have upgraded the transmission and not the engine. A 3.6 paired with a 4l80e would be a dream Traverse

The only issue I have with the redesign is the four trim levels. As far as power goes, there is plenty of it with this design. Turbo lag is minimal as it kicks in at a lower RPM. No automotive manufacturer that builds cars in mass is going to be immune from defects. It’s just the nature of the business. You change one supplier for parts and the whole line could come to a screeching halt or you could end up with a product that performs like a rock star. I bought the RS and so far it’s a very comfortable drive. I also have a 2018 Premier and that thing has been rock solid ever since the dealership fixed an oil leak. In the end, tastes can’t be compared. Everyone is different. Take a test drive and see how you feel about it.

The problem is your lazy to make a real drive review coz this is only an ai review 😅 this is not an actual review

I purchased this vehicle in May. So far, it is a very comfortable ride. We went on a road trip, and it is great on gas. Time will tell, but the vehicle so far is living up to the hype.

Rather have a V6 Not a fan of any turbo engine cars unless there is no turbo lag at all.

Just read an article today from GM AUTHORITY that GM has revised the HP and torque numbers to 328 and 326 respectively, up from the 315 HP and 317torque.

I really don’t see any problem (s). That should be a good engine. It’s an inline 4 cylinder., and Iam guessing it’s closely related to the 2.7 inline 4 in the Silverado/ Colorado., which seems to be a solid engine., it’s been out since 2019. From what I’ve seen in videos the interior looks like they did a good job. (It’s not a Cadillac). The new 8 speed should be a good one. Iam pretty sure all the problems they had with the previous 8 speed were enough to make sure they got this one right. It’s true only time will tell, but with a crowded competition in this segment, I bet this Traverse will be a good choice. I would give it a A without even driving one yet.

All chevy traverse will eventually get engine timing chain error code. Cost to replace timing chain is $5500 to $6500.
I will never by GMC or Chevy with VVT engine (variable valve timing).
Ford engines also have the infamous ticking sound after your first oil change and the dealer will pretend they never heard of it.

4 cylinder turbo? No thanks. A lot of money for a vehicle that will probably give you less than 150 thousand miles out of it.

I feel so burned by the arcadia /traverse engines that I can't even consider giving GMC another chance 🥴 4 cylinders suck also because they rely on clutch plates to keep from stalling.

This was the weakest and most negative vehicle review, I have ever seen.
Every vehicle has a something that goes wrong and that is (FOR ALL MANUFACTURERS). It was very disingenuous to open up this poorly made review in the fashion, in which you have done. ("THUMBS DOWN")!!! I will never watch another review from this channel.

Different transmissions in the 2023 versus the 2024 (9-speed vs 8-speed). Transmission reliability in past models is irrelevant unless you have data on the 8-speed in other models.

Chasing carbon credits. More maintenance for turbos. For not at all, any better gas mileage 😂😂

This review is pathetic.
The 2024 Traverse has 328 HP not 315😂😂
You can't sit here and bash the Traverse when you can't even get the facts right.

Might have to wait another twelve months to get serious about this one. I wonder about a 4-banger's harsh engine noise and fuel mileage maybe being less than the old V6 which wasn't the greatest. The 2024 Buick retains the 3.6 V6, but also retains its older technology.

By the way this video has enough information to be considered a buying guide. Good job 👏🏼
