This song has special meaning for me - it's a story too lengthy to write here, but I want this played at my funeral, along with a few other classics by Willie Nelson. The story is sad - a short version is that my own mom said that if I were a man and lived during the 1800s, I would have been hung before I turned 20. I'm 61 now, and it's a miracle I made it this far.

Call me soft but, during the late evenings, as I sit alone and listen to Eagles songs, on YouTube, through earphones, I can seldom get through this classic, without tears filling my eyes. Don't ask me why.
