Originally from New York, we (my husband, sister & my toddler son at the time & a couple of friends) had moved to California in '77 when this song was all over the radio waves. As young people we just wanted to "check out" living there. A year or so later, our brother decided to join us as well. He then was named as " The new kid in town" . To this day, everytime I hear this song, first thought is of my beloved brother. R.I.P. bro, miss you every day
