Bio:
Only a few bands can really say they have a unique sound and A Tribe Called Red (ATCR) is one of them. From First Nations origins, these three producers are creating a sonic identity for a new generation by bridging traditional Pow Wow music and contemporary dance music. But ATCR is more than a band with an innovative hybridization of music.

At shows and in the media, they are creating a safe environment for communities to come together, experience and discuss long lasting issues and systematic problems that the indigenous peoples continue to face every day. They are contributing to the fabric and discussion of the national narrative and are more than a music group. They became a symbol for a generation of indigenous youth, a voice for a population whom voice is still rarely heard and a bridge between communities.
