Recently, I decided to switch back the the iPhone 15 Pro and after doing so, I think I discovered the 7 features Apple would need to implement before considering switching over from Android full-time.

Enjoy!

Finally someone mentions the clipboard. I switched from my Galaxy S8 to the iPhone 15 Pro and couldn't believe that the clipboard wasn't implemented

Dude, you're like the realest reviewer I've seen on this platform, pointing out things that REAL users face. Good stuff 🔥

As an iPhone user, I love reviews like these. Even tho I use iPhone, I still love reviews from all kinds of phones

This whole list can be sumed up by one phrase. "Give the user the option to...."

Apple simply refuses to give its phone owners the control they need to personalize important aspects of the experience. Whether its notifications, home screens, third party app stores, navigation within apps, ect. Apple doesn't want you to have a tailor made experience. They want your phone to look and act like everyone else's.

Hard pass

I switched to iOS because of my YouTube channel. Wanted a camera that was great and would connect to my Mac easier. (AirDrop is phenomenal) But since I switched to the iPhone 11 Pro i’ve constantly tried to switch back to Android. I miss the customization, back gesture, Google Assistant instead of Siri. I need to get a real camera for my YouTube channel and then I can switch back to Android. Hopefully i’ll be able to save enough for when the Pixel 9 releases (or if the Galaxy S24 gets a huge discount)

The iPhone navigation was always such a peeve for me. My brother uses an iPhone and every time he lets me take a look at it out of curiosity, the process of navigating back was so tedious.

I was so close to buying the iPhone 15 Pro Max, but getting my sister an iPhone 13 and helping her set it up, was the most frustrating experience of my life, and so, 2 days later I ordered the Samsung S24 Plus instead. I love the iPhone hardware, I really do but all the reasons mentioned, and some others, surely could be overcomed, but am I wasn't willing enough.

On the notification piece, you can set the notification as persistent and it will stay until dismissed. Can’t do the upper reminder piece though.

The back gesture is definitely one of my most missed “features” from using Android. I’m about four years in on iPhones and I have gotten used to it, but I still miss the consistent back gesture.

I dropped my s23 ultra for the 15 pro. I absolutely love it. It runs so flawless and the pictures are just amazing. That being said the s23u was an amazing phone but I not once took advantage of all of the customization which it comes to personalizing it to my liking. I hardly took advantage of the great cameras. To each their own though 😊

Great video. I have been using iPhone and IOS for a few years now but despite me being very patient, they still have fixed the issues you've mentioned. I might go back to the pixel soon.

moving Photos to a Windows Desktop and Universal Back Gesture. These are the 2 things that have been a big hinderance for me personally.

iOS issues:
1) Can't sort apps alphabetically
2) Keyboard lag & does not have number row key
3) Notifications is not as good as Android
4) iOS calculator is not as complex as Android's calculator (does not show the calculation only shows the result)
5) Setting alarm does not show how many more hours still alarm rings

Thanks Sam, you just saved me from even trying an Iphone I was planning on buying as a secondary phone, now I see I would loose my mind on that notifications and navigation issues, I prefer to have a secondary Samsung
