Three updates to the 578 and a CPS update and I'm running. The range is inadequate. BT-01 is using BT 4 or 5 depending on what specs you read...so the range should be great. The 578 BT specs are unknown...perhaps it's BT 1 which is only 30 feet. Looking for a range extender so I can use the BT-01 throughout my QTH and attached garage.

What is the BT01_V100h BT01_V1.00h_2022117.CDI ? Is this an update for the firmware in the BT01 mic? It comes bundled with download for D578UV-FW-V2.04 which I assumed
was for the 578 radio. The instructions show the BT01 and that's what I am thinking its a firmware update for the BT01 not the 578. I would have thought the BT01 being so new would already have the latest firmware
