Maybe they should do a vote system on picking which Battle Pass rewards should come back first, then so on and so fourth. Like they did with skins in Chapter 2, Season 1. Those skins came out way after the most voted skin came out

I'd like to state an opinion for the battle passes to stay exclusive as a player, who plays since 2018. I respect it and understand it, that players want cosmetics from the past and are sad that they can not get them anymore. Same for me. I started in season 5 and I'm sad that I had no chance getting Omega, Carbide and Valor. But on the other hand it's completely fine. After so many years of playing the game (we're talking 7000+ hours) the game just has not too much going for it anymore other than the cosmetics and the satisfaction from progressing in something driven by FOMO. Yes, they add new features but for me those are fun for a short while only and then it's nothing special anymore. The game concept is too dry to be this open to everyone. People need something to work for and feel accomplished. That's why I grinded my life off to get full golden Peely back in the day. Driven by FOMO. Now I have no challenges left this season and I have no need to play anymore. I unlocked everything. The game is dry if there's nothing to get.
That's also why I stopped Fall Guys. There is no need to play the game over and over and over and over if you can just buy the things you want later on. They rerelease cosmetics from passes, which makes them so worthless for me/not worth the grind for me.
This is just something to think about. Wanted to put that out there, because I saw many people saying, they wouldn't know why the community is against it. That's my view. :-)

Bro ngl why do so many people care about an image coming on a screen being available for other players. Tbh like they should do it so they sell the normal stuff but the actual super levels stay exclusive.

I don't get why the community is so against it. They think having rare skins gives them some sort of advantage like they can resell them for thousands of dollars. They're literally a bunch of ones and zeroes. Eventually when this game is shut down and it does end you won't have them anymore anyway. So why not make it available for everyone? Besides they could just sell BP skins individual in the shop for slightly higher prices or costs and guaranteed people would still buy them. I know I would. OG Deadpool, Peely, Iron Man just to name a few

I’ll say this. If they remove the FOMO part of the battle pass the battle pass won’t sell which means they won’t make money. And for the seasons that came prior going forward it wouldn’t make sense cause most of the good skins people want are in prior passes so it doesn’t do anything if the prior passes aren’t included. I don’t think they’ll go this route. It’s wishful thinking for newer players like myself but there are too many red flags for epic especially losing money on battle passes

Whats the point of buying a battle pass if its not exclusive, guess the cheaper aspect is something but it just kinda adds hypocrisy or ruins the reason to even buy it. Idk just my oppinion lol

Its very anoying that i have to download assets to my computer that i will never be able to use. And those who can probably left the game and won't do it anymore.

Agreed. There. Is so much drain in my and possibly other peoples souls regarding grinding and the FOMO gets to everyone who collects. It's really something that makes some people (Myself especially) not want to play anymore but still do because of FOMO and friends.

I disagree. Battlepasse should only be EXCLUSIVE TO THAT SEASON! Its what makes them special and its what makes you WANT to buy them. And to everyone saying that the people disagreeing are just whiny kids who wanna keep rare skins, i dont even care about my rare bp skins😂 I started chapter 1 season 8 and i could care less about the skins.

Absolutely not, what really needs to end is this new wave of entitlement from new players. People who actually enjoy Fortnite for Fortnite don’t want or need this stuff to return. People who play for collabs are not really interested in the long term success of the game, only thinking of the short term benefits of this. This would kill the feeling of the battle pass and make every single item less valuable and less unique. It’s not just about rarity, it’s about the memories, it’s about the time these skins represent. I’m disappointed that people like you and Italk who have an influence on these new players keep boosting their uninformed opinions and agreeing with them instead of directing them towards a better understanding of these cosmetics

Having limitless time to complete a pass would be nice, I remember being able to get the extra styles of the Werewolf skin after season 6 was over

But the more people complain about missing out the less likely it is to change, note how they make grindy quests that feel like chores just to keep people playing. They don't want players to relax too much and be like "I don't have to play today" they want you to play all the time

I feel like the main Battle Royale skins should stay exclusive for their respective season because that just makes it fun to grind out the pass to get as much as you can before that season ends and keep it that way. I want skins that I never got too like the original Wolverine. I wanted him but I never made time to get on and get him and that’s on me. That’s what makes the battle passes unique. They’re seasonal for THAT SEASON. It would be kinda stupid to have a Season X battle pass skin to come out during the Marvel season next season. It just doesn’t make sense. The way they’ve been doing it is completely fine. If you miss out you miss out, that’s on you. Just because you didn’t have the time to get something while it was there for three months in a battle pass doesn’t mean you want to jeopardize the uniqueness and the fun of the style of the battle passes.

Heres what I would do
Release recent battle pass skins into the shop after two seasons, but have it only have the base style (no bonus, quest, or super styles), and give an exclusive item to show you owned that pass like a backbling.

So yeah, the skins will drop in the shop, but you still get the full thing, and if they want to release them with the extra styles, then keep the super styles exclusive.

The way I see it as long as og owners get a special style for their stuff (chapter 1 cosmetics, we already have super styles from chapter 2 on) I’m perfectly fine with battle pass cosmetics returning

Legally I can see why they wouldn’t be able to bring them back, especially collabs. Imagine the amount of money they’d make if they did bring passes back. It’d be a win-win situation for everyone.
