This Is What Changed In Fortnite Chapter 5's Final Update

I liked pretty much everything better in Chapter 4 than in Chapter 5. Augments, keys, hitscan ARs, Pump shotgun meta, capture pts at the POIs, jump pads at the POIs for movement instead of reliance on cars, mobility items, map, rotation strategy, healing items, OP weapon for winning island, OP weapons for winning your POI. In chapter 5, I wasn’t a fan of the medallions all season, wasn’t a fan of cars, wasn’t a fan of the quantity of mobility items, wasn’t a fan of the sniper meta, projectile ARs were lame, weapon mods were ehh, weapon bunker fights were so cheesy. Im so burned out on how far I feel like the game has fallen, I just play less, am less excited to play, and less excited to win. So hopeful for Chapter 6 to flip the script.

I really wish we'd get hitscan (and hopefully but definitely not happening) the old movement back for Chapter 6. The attachments were cool but bullet drop just doesn't work for fortnite. And the movement, especially the sprint drain and recharge speed just don't fit fortnite.

Epic is pushing for new maps and solo mode for Reload yet hasn't said anything about when we'll finally get trios 😭

My conspiracy theory is reload is going to be a version of the chapter 5 map to give people options that don’t like OG style gameplay. I think this because there that a strange glitch a few weeks ago where reload actually loaded you into the current chapter 5 map.

I would entirely welcome the jungle biomes to be incorporated into the next map in some way. Maybe a mix of chapters 3 and 4

W Jake. Ch5 hasn’t been the best but there have been moments when it’s been really fun. Most of S1 but esp TMNT update. S2 pre Avatar. S3 for about a minute between car nerfs and Magneto and S4 since Jet packs got removed and Fortnitemares was added. Looking forward to Remix and all your content throughout.
