Feature to features, the Changan CrossOver is ahead of the Geely Coolray and much cheaper and better Spec too.

Thanks very much for the comparo that I have been waiting for. In addition to the CS35 Plus being a good chunk cheaper, it requires normal engine oil, while the Coolray requires 2AE-0W20 oil, that costs 6 to 7 times as much. If you use regular oil, you will not get the same KPL. That is the spec for the Middle East. Is it the same for the Philippines?

It is about time! Been waiting for this comparo since CS35 Plus came out

The base variant (Lite) of Changan CS35 Plus is the most bang for the buck imo.

Although it lacks curtain airbags, having ADAS, a panaromic sunroof, a meaty engine, and an enticing exterior styling is sulit for 898, 000.

Though I could see why people wouldn't buy this car (not only the lite but the other variants as well) because of the red interior, but for me, that's not a problem.

Awesome bit of information. I use to like the coolray, but after seeing the completion and how maybe how myy taste have matured I just see the coolray now as more for younger audience. Hence, my preference for the chery tiggo 7 pro better. Though this changan cs35 plus has been in my radar as well. We ultimately went witth the chery tiggo 8 pro, it's just a more mature and elegant looking car compare to geely offerings. Azkara is close but for a 5 seater at 1.7mil...its not competitive enough, ita probably why their okavango line is doing well since it's starts at 1.5 or less I think for a 7 seater.

Love both of these vehicles but I'm still kinda levitating on the Coolray Sport in spite of being lack of safety bits, I'm more on its sporty and aggressive styling plus the engine power. Thank you sir Rey for this awesome comparo!

NCAP scores would be a good gauge as well when reviewing i believe CS35 has 4 stars while gcr was 5 stars. adaptive cruise was nice for cs35 while gcr was not adaptive

Changan is more famous and saleable here sa UAE and alam nyo grabeh ang weather didto napaka extreme. Personally i have an MG ZS 2020 model and napakarami ng MG dito so for me i only rely on vehicles running and tested here in UAE
