Thanks for showing the issues you had such as the lighter getting caught. It helps me know what to avoid. Most videos like this have nothing go wrong and then everything goes wrong for me.

Watching your lighter get stuck was hilarious. Thanks for the vid.

You did very good job of repairing your own tire. I didn't know there was water inside. I learned something today. Thank you.

Just spent a bunch of time catching up on your videos, you have a great attitude and the work ethic to get the job done. Do us all a favor though and add some blocks when you use those tippy farm jacks as I am looking forward to your future projects. Have fun and stay safe, I believe this channel is going to take off.

Good job! Got it done. Just a note, both tires have to be off the ground and they will turn opposite directions.

Nice job dude please always remember especially when working by oneself is safety first. Always put a jack stand of some sort weather it be an actual stand or a piece of bucked wood under whatever you have jacked up that way if for some reason it comes off the jack it will stay in place not leaving an impression of “you” in the dirt and this is certainly needed with that type of jack that’s one reason they’re nicknamed the deadman’s jack

Very good work ethic. In the future, you may want consider installing a tube to isolate the carbon steel rim from water or calcium chloride corrosion. This has worked well with both of our old tractors, TO-35 & IH444. Calcium chloride is extremely aggressive at ambient temperatures.Key learning: Wear old shoes when working with calcium chloride.

If you had a tube in it why would the air escape from tube to outside past the rim. I ask because I too had a tire that would constantly go flat but when I did rip it totally off and examine very closely I saw no leaks any where? Where as the other side that did not leak really was a mess with the tube fused to the rim in certain spots. My tires were not loaded but were the hardest thing to remove from the rim which on the second one I had to finally cut the steel bead to get it to come over the rim. I applaud the hard worker you are and for taking the time to make this video.

Nice job! Hopefully I won't have to break the bead on my loaded rear tire. I have a 4x4 2006 New Holland TC29DA. My valve stem core housing corroded from the calcium to the point I couldn't add air. The tire eventually went flat with rust around the stem hole in the rim. It also slowly leaked calcium which discolored the rim paint. I'm a bit of a stickler when it comes to repairs and overall appearance, so I will get rid of the rust, flaking, and any corrosion first. I do hate that when the 'professionals' won't take the time to do it right! After installing a 'Colby' push in core housing, I will repaint the exterior of the rim. I even thought about welding on a pair of half circle valve stem protectors that we see on newer tractors today. Thanks for taking the time to show us how you made your repair!

I wouldn't use a grinding disc until I used a hammer and chisel to remove the rusty scale first to be able to have a good idea just how weak the metal is. Once cleaned up use bead sealer, let it dry before putting the tire on the bead.

Nice work using the backhoe!
I think the shop you took it to, like many, probably checked the tire and rushed right past the rim. Lame service...
Some guys in Europe use beet juice for balast since it doesn't freeze and isn't toxic.
That may still rust...I might try mineral oil for ballast, no rusting, freezing and non toxic if it spills in the field.
Also if you spray out a little fuse away from the tire it'll burn up to it and you don't get pinched.lol
Thanks for the video sir.

Is it the right way. Ya, it worked out, so that's as good as any other way that fixes it.

Both tires have to be off the ground in order to spin one of them, limited slip rear differentials .
