I once paid $60 for an 8 minute ride in one of these at a local air show. Best and most nervous time I’ve ever experienced.

Always loved the wee 300's. The deer recovery guys used to chuck them around the sky -
and they loved it as it was one of the very few helicopters where you could look back behind you by looking
over your shoulder if the deer cut back on you. I was also astounded how much moss the 300's could lift.

I owned a 300 for many years. Excellent piston chopper. I could fly it and take aerial pictures at the same time. Semi lock the collective, and left hand on cyclic, right hand held the Canon camera.

Beautiful flight. My only concern is with the CFI having his phone out while the doors are off. If he loses his phone there is an excellent chance it will strike the tail rotor.

It's either the 269 or the 300 which was slightly bigger, never heard of the 296

AWESOME!!!! I HAVE FLOWN IN MANY HELICOPTERS, BUT I HAVE ALWAYS WANTED TO FLY ONE. THAT WAS TECHNICALLY VERY SOUND AND SMOOTH.
