This is why us dudes on the ground have so much confidence. You get hurt, and these dudes will come in hot to get you. Gotta love the Hawk dudes...

8K hours in Arma 3 doing this. I envy you more than words can express.

This video inspired me to become a 60 pilot 4 years ago. 4 years later, I'm a 60 pilot and this video still hypes me up! Nothing like some terrain flight with doors off to get the blood pumping!

0:09 "Alight mates we can resume our mission...I have finished urinating upon this remote hillside" - absolutely how this video started

PS I'm just jelly because I'm fixed wing and our bladders suffer!

This guys used to be my neighbor. Parents still live there. Did a low flyby a year or two ago right over my house one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen

The 693 dislikes are the ones who got disqualified from flight school.

This just popped up on my feed. How did YouTube know I needed this?! Makes me wish we had cameras when I was flying helicopters in the 80s. Low level along the river, trees either side, turn back to check out the girls skinny dipping!

Still the best pilot POV i've ever seen. The flying is just magical. Keep it up.

This is a side note on the PJ's I left in a comment but I just respect them so much I had to share my thoughts:
"I watched a video about how freaking difficult it is to make the PJ's, it's insane. I think it's harder than the seals, seriously. They have to be able to do basically everything the seals do, including the water stuff(scuab etc)and weapons training and explosives, but they also have to do rounds at the hospital and stuff (hence the Paramedic side). The guy who made it through said he had to practice doing IV's at night with night vision goggles in the back of a black hawk at low level and maneuvering. I heard that and was like jesus! And if you fail, and this is way into your training already, and fuck up the IV or just can't make it happen enough times that's it, you could wash out". And yes I'm aware the pilots aren't PJ's, still respect them too, it's a difficult and dangerous job, I know.

This cockpit view sent me straight back to the low level flying i was able to experience in Northern Ireland in the late nineties. I sat jumpseat on a couple of occasions in the Chinook and as passenger on various others. The sensation of movement and motion is awesome to experience. Really enjoyed watching this with a grin on my face, thanks.

This video takes me back...

Thank you for sharing!

There is something to be said about low level flying, it’s like a drug for me!

I once (unofficially) chased down a Train in the Rockies, through tight passages, and it’s one of those live long memories that stick with you!

Thanks again and thank you for your service
