Could Jedi use Force Lightning? Star Wars #Shorts

So did Jedi ever use force lightning. Well the short answer is no and the long answer is kinda yes.
Force lightning drew heavily upon the dark side of the force and the users desire to not just kill and destroy but to inflict pain and torture others. This meant that Jedi who used it would turn to the darkside pretty quickly.


However, a version of force lightning known as electric justice or emerald lightning did exist which was associated with the lightside of the force. This ability drew on a lightsiders desire to bring a bad guy or girl to justice and would emit a green or yellow lighting bolt. However, this abilitywas banned by the Jedi order as only the most morally courages Jedi such as Plo Koon could use it without being tempted to use its more powerful darkside cousin, force lightning.
