Why Jedi Were FORBIDDEN From Using Force Lightning - Star Wars Explained

In Star Wars, we have some of the most powerful Jedi to ever exist (Mace Windu, Yoda, Anakin Skywalker...etc) who never utilized all that power...why wouldn't they just expand their knowledge of the force and use all the resources they had to better the galaxy from evil?

It seems only the Sith, such as Palpatine and Count Dooku (Attack of the Clones/Revenge of the Sith/Return of the Jedi) were the ones to showcase TRUE sith force lightning...what's the deal...well...Darth Plagueis breaks it down for you in today's video :) :D

But if Dooku hit Anakin with force Lightning, then when he turned to the darkside, could he not have instantly used it? He could have destroyed Obiwan since, once more Obiwan didn't know how to defend against it.

Anakin killed Kenobi at mustafar and Sidious and Anakin rule the empire for 20 years .

Suddently Anakin tries to kill Sidious because he knows he has nothing left to learn ( full potential ), but Sidious manages to escape, and happens to land on daggobah where he gets captured by Yoda .

After a month Sidious gets released when they both realize they got the same goal, and they can use each other .

Sidious will give Yoda his remaining credits to start a new temple on a secret planet only Yoda knows, while Sidious needs Yoda's combat skills to kill Anakin .

They agree to kill Anakin, and then go both their own ways .

Fight takes place on Naboo on the graveyard where Padme is burried ( because that's the only time Anakin isn't surrounded by troopers ) .

Who wins ?
