Fiction usually portrays clones as basically the same person again but it's effectively just something like an identical twin, i.e, a completely separate and independent human being and it's highly questionable that any court would not grant them the exact same rights as any normally born human in an instant.

I.e. if you clone yourself you basically now have a child just like if you adopted one and this means you must raise them properly and once they are of age they are totally free to do whatever the fuck they want.

2:55 If we are talking about an exact physical copy, it already means that the brain with all the processes in it is also copied. Our consciousness is also a physical phenomenon. So if we have copied a person and he has a different personality, it is not a copy. I'm sure someone has already said that. We can call partial copies twins and exact copies clones/copies.
