The war in Afghanistan vs a tribal group costed to USA near $110 billion per year. For less than that USA can test and help destroy one of their biggest enemies, and without a single man down. They can't waste such an opportunity.

As an American I’m very upset we waited so long. I hope this doesn’t happen again.

Thanks, as always, TR, for educating this old Texan with a broader perspective about the world as seen through the eyes of our friends across the pond!

Saying that no amount of aid will ever be enough is wrong headed and will just be used by your adversaries in the American congress against you, what are you thinking?!?!!

The $60B is great news for Ukraine and her allies. The long delay was Trump's doing. Hopefully Europe will ramp up its weapons production. I never in my life, thought that I would say such a thing, the devil Putin has brought us to this terrible place.

Putin makes his gangster regime an economic and diplomatic pariah, adds Sweden and Finland to NATO, turns thousands of young Russian men into 200 and 300 cargo, and continues a war entirely of his own making. Putin is an international bungler on an epic scale.

I think us with the delay of desicions and a couple of people not interesting to help ucraine have cause the caotic situacion that ucranians soilders and givilians are having now. Europe also is a reflection from us letting putin advance and treath the whole global situacion .

The sound is too low at timestamp 1:19:40. I barely hear the facilitators voice. Note I have my sound turned up to 100%

I feel bad about how long it took our democratic process in the USA to support Ukraine in its fight for life. I will caution you that in democracies and rule of law, we had to follow the process and make a case for the US to go into further debt for a key Western Country like Ukraine. I’m not happy with our process and we need to improve it. I do think from the Ukrainian standpoint possibly a little more gratitude and a little less criticism and media talking points would help your case for further aid. The EU can and should do more to secure Europe including Ukraine and as an ally we should do our part. God Bless the courageous citizens of democratic Ukraine and your tenacious and professional soldiers. Especially the “Finally the US has approved aid to Ukraine” comments from James makes him sound like a tool. The USA has provided 65-70% of all military aid for Ukraine and it is on Europes door step. The US right now has to borrow this money? If you want more aid so you don’t have to say finally, we used to share the expenses like in Gulf War 1 in 1990, we had cost sharing, Germany contributed billions to the US as did Japan, Korea, the Saudis, Kuwaitis, Emiratis and others for the cost of that conflict and many from the Middle East also contributed troops and weapons. Maybe Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Belgium, Norway and the UK if they do not have the capacity to manufacture, you could cover 1/2 of the cost the US is providing to Ukraine? We always want to do our part in the USA towards peace and stability or in this case the defeat of Psychopathic Dwarf Putin, but the EU economy is as big as the US and this is on your door step. Stop criticizing your most loyal ally and dig in and do your part, or you encourage the election of an idiot like Trump to be our President, while you complain about him. Let’s work together and get it together!

Of course this was down to two elements. Trump must be held accountable and hopefully at the November elections . Can you imagine an ex politician interfering in war material supply in WW2 . He would be in arrested very quickly . It’s truly outrageous. Secondly Europe should have mobilised defence production months if not years ago

Western Preaidents and Prime Ministers including same for Indo-pacific allies should start listening to their Generals instead of nonsensical political discourses. This war would have been over if the Generals and Intelligence agencies had been given an ear.

As an American I was very disappointed in the Republican Party. I will make sure my vote counts this election.

I’d like to see some tangible actions on the battlefield before concluding that Putin is defeated. I’ve heard this story too many times before yet Ukraine is losing this war as it stands today. Sure we want to see Russia’s army lose with this new aid package but let’s see it happen.
