Russia’s Forgotten War in Europe: Ukrainians Caught in Crossfire of Putin’s Ambitions

It has been 4 years since Russian hybrid forces occupied parts of eastern Ukraine. Many towns and villages found themselves on or near the frontline, of a stand-off between Russian-backed militants and the Ukrainian army.
One of the settlements sliced by the frontline is the small town of Zaytseve in Donetsk region. Despite multiple agreements to introduce a ceasefire, shelling attacks on Ukrainian strongholds occur on a daily basis.
