Thanks for showing how to do this! I'm going to be replacing the alternator on a 1993 Accord Ex coupe 5 speed manual in a couple of weeks with my 15 year old son. We have the Haynes manual, but having a video showing how to do it is better. This is a great tutorial for learners!

THANK YOU! this helped a lot...the socket sizes saved hassle and the big overall steps just made it simple, the only finicky thing was reinstalling the tensioner on the alternator, first, as it was a tight for my fingers, second, getting to the 12mm bolt on there was super tight for my socket set .

Dude, I'm STUCK like CHUCK, but the problem is, I give a fk.

My son's 93 Accord. I need to know how you took out the adjuster bolt. It's frozen in there. I tool off the nut, but that bolt is, which I call a "collard sleeve", won't budge. I can't get any kind of a tool in that tiny space to tap it back through the other side (tapping it to the right). It's the only way to get it out, but it can't be done. Why they designed this thing like this is beyond my understanding, 🤯. I noticed you didn't show how you did it. How's come? This is the critical part.

I have the PS disconnected, and, this 93 is IMMACULATE!!! fyi. 91K, all CHERRY, BtB!!!
