The neighbors should sue the city. It shouldn’t have taken them a decade for this house to be clean and brought up to code. This is upsetting and insane. Not fare and healthy for the neighbors to live near all these mess for more than a decade.

The hoarder needs to be in a residential facility, otherwise he's just going to hoard the place again.

To the home owner: This might seem tragic and upset you tremendously. But I am sure when all is said and done you will find this Liberating. It will become the right thing to do for you . Good luck with the life you are receiving.

They did this for the house in San Diego but never actually helped the the family inside overcome their hoarding and guess what happened. Trash started appearing in front of their house again.

Hoarders are just the worst if it looks on the outside like this how does it look inside the house

why did it take years to fix this? a can of gas would have removed it all in one night.

Recently cleaned a neighbor's yard. Not a hoarder situation, but so heavily overgrown it became a potential fire hazard. Usually older folks...

Where is Adult Protective Services. The woman is in her 90s!! She is a vulnerable adult. if the outside look like that, can you imagine the inside?? where is she sleeping? is there running water? what about her food? how has her health been affected by the hoarding? The state has failed this family and the neighbors who have been complained for years. APS should have intervene to evaluate this elderly person. it took the new crew to shed light in the situation for the city to do something about it. Shame!!

They need to take all of it especialy the staff he accumulated inside their house. Because he has a very old and sick mother. She will get worst if they don't clean the inside of the house thoroughly.

The hoarders need compassion and this exactly what this lady presenter showed.

Also, can a visit from a social services employee with training in senior abuse be done. My mother is ninety-two, and has been in Assissted living for six years for her health and safety.
